OUR STORY

Have you ever spent time wondering about your purpose in life?  We did.

Before we were married, we knew we were called to missions, but we started our marriage focusing on our careers and serving the local church and community to meet the measure for success.  Although we were raised with Indian values including high expectations for family life, education, and careers,

we were confused about who we were once we attained those goals.

As Christian Indian-American business professionals, we had the opportunity to live the American dream, but we struggled through many disappointments and often viewed life as a burden, a pit of expectations, and a string of circumstances.  For much of our life, we were so caught up in what we were supposed to do that we lost sight of what we were meant to do.  As the years passed by, we had a hard time piecing together all the different sides of our life.  When we started having children, we enjoyed some of our happiest moments, but also faced the most painful times in our life with the loss of our second son, David, third child, Baby John, and fifth child, Surprise John.  While it felt like our world came to a dead stop, life had to go on.  We pushed ourselves to move forward believing that God had more in mind for us.  He did, does, and will!

From the beginning of time, God continues to piece together the perfect life for each person to complete what He created us to do.  All of our life experiences, even the ones we consider unimportant, random, unwanted, and difficult, are preparing us for the specific mission designed just for us.
